Lovely hotel and lovely people on staff

Staff were friendly and helpful from the valets to front desk, restaurant to maintenance tech working diligently to restore function when elevator went down.

Historic Charm with Excellent Amenities

Go for the historic charm and enjoy the courteous and helpful staff, the clean and comfortable rooms and the great food at the restaurant and if weather permits, dining on the lovely patio. This hotel is a gem!

Beautiful historic hotel going through updates

Beautiful historic building with friendly staff. I wish I had the time to try their restaurant because it looked wonderful.

The room had a heavy perfumed scent, like the scented powders used in carpets to cover up other musty scents. I opened the windows and the door to the hall to air it out for about 30 minutes and then it was manageable but I still got a headache. They did have a sign in the room that they were doing updates.

Watch out for the valet only parking free!

Great hotel, love the dark wood interior and the room was nice; HOWEVER, $81 a night valet only parking. A no go if you have a vehicle you need to park overnight.
